Kim has worked in the visual effects industry as a concept designer, matte painter and texture artist for over four years.
He has extensive experience on a wide range of projects and has a natural talent for creating atmospheric environments that engage the viewer and he especially enjoys working within the sci/fi fantasy genres.
Kim was the Head of Matte Painting and Lead Concept Designer for VFX on Terry Pratchett's “The Colour of Magic".
His other film credits include The Golden Compass, The Other Boleyn Girl, and Terry Pratchett's “The Hogfather” for Sky One HD which was awarded a BAFTA for VFX.
Kim also has worked on a number of commercial ads for brands including Landrover, Stella, Smirnoff and Vodafone.
